On February 6th, this horse completed a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua finishing second comfortably while tracking the leaders. Six weeks ago in a similar trial, it ran satisfactorily despite a slow start and settling towards the rear before making a mid-race move. It finished seventh, beaten two and a half lengths. A recent barrier trial performance was unremarkable. This time carrying a five-pound weight reduction, with proven form over this distance, comparable times within its group, and an advantageous draw, it appears well positioned. Based on current form compared to other contenders, the horse is considered a leading chance, and trainer/jockey relationship seems strong; connections are clearly confident.
