Two weeks ago, over Sha Tin 1400m, the performance was disappointing with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. The horse ran at a consistent pace throughout but failed to make significant ground in the final stages, finishing well-beaten. Returning to Happy Valley over a mile, facing a disadvantageous draw and needing to come from behind, a strong finishing kick is questionable. The trainer-jockey combination isn’t particularly strong, however the horse benefits from a one-pound weight reduction and reasonable section times. Considered an outsider with potential for minor placing.
