Four weeks ago, this horse ran disappointingly over a Sha Tin 1400m. He jumped slowly and settled towards the rear, maintaining a steady pace but making gradual progress in the final stages. Switching to Happy Valley over 1200m, this will be his first attempt at this distance. The track and trip are unfavorable, and adopting a hold-up tactic may hinder his finishing kick. There doesn't appear to be strong synergy between the trainer and jockey, making a strong performance unlikely.
