SAME TO YOU

Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Sha Tin 1200m turf race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. He maintained a consistent pace throughout but only made gradual progress in the final section. Returning to Happy Valley over 1200m, the conditions didn’t suit his running style; adopting a hold-up tactic would likely see him unable to catch the leaders. The trainer/jockey combination doesn't appear ideal, however, he benefits from a two-pound weight reduction this time and has shown previous form over this distance, making a competitive showing possible.
