Three weeks ago, this horse performed poorly in a Sha Tin 1600m race, jumping slowly and settling towards the back of the field. It made a mid-race move, attempting to close ground in the straight over two sections with a consistent pace but showing an unremarkable run. Last start, it raced at Happy Valley over 1800m and now faces a 16lb weight increase for this race, which isn't an ideal scenario. However, it has two previous wins over this distance and its time figures are competitive; it shouldn’t be discounted.
