Returning to Happy Valley over 1800m, the situation wasn’t favorable with a poor barrier draw and a lack of strong finishing kick. The jockey-trainer combination wasn’t ideal, but this time benefiting from a one-pound weight reduction and with proven form over this distance, it could be considered for each-way value.
