Five weeks ago, over Sha Tin 1800m, the horse performed poorly, settling in a good position tracking the leaders but weakening significantly in the final stages and finishing well-beaten. A subsequent run over Happy Valley 1800m showed weak time figures and an unfavorable position. The final stages saw a moderate finishing kick, with the trainer-jockey combination not demonstrating significant synergy. Despite a three-pound weight reduction this time, having two previous wins over this distance, and an advantageous barrier draw, a strong showing is unlikely.
