Four weeks ago, this horse ran a disappointing race over a long distance at Happy Valley, settling towards the rear and maintaining an even pace throughout. The performance was lackluster and he finished poorly. Returning to dirt over 1800m, his time wasn't impressive and faced a disadvantageous situation. If adopting a hold-up tactic again, a strong finishing kick would be unlikely. Trainer-jockey combination is not ideal, but benefits from an advantageous barrier draw and a four-pound weight reduction this time, although no clear strategy is apparent.
