OCEAN IMPACT

Two weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over a Happy Valley 1800m, settling towards the rear and maintaining an even pace throughout. Switching to dirt over 1800m, it’s his first attempt at this distance. He will carry one pound more weight this time, but the distance isn't ideal and his barrier draw is less favorable. His finishing kick was slightly lacking, and trainer-jockey combination isn’t optimal; however, his sectionals were respectable so he shouldn’t be dismissed.
