Five weeks ago, in the same race, it performed excellently, settling well and tracking near the pace to secure second place, finishing just two lengths behind. A recent trial showed slight improvement. The horse's time index is among the best in its group, and the draw is ideal; it can compete near the front. Its overall rating places it among the top contenders, and the jockey has a good understanding of the horse's temperament. Preparations are serious, but noting that this race requires an extra pound of weight and the horse has lost all seven previous starts with no outstanding finishing kick, it can still be a key contender.
