Three weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, tracking the pace from a good position but showing signs of weakening in the final stages, finishing as the last-place finisher. In his subsequent run over 1600m on Sha Tin turf, he carried an extra pound for this race. His time was not outstanding, the circumstances were not favorable, and his draw was not ideal. He showed slightly less finishing kick, and the connection between jockey and trainer does not seem particularly harmonious. While he has some past form, he could be a candidate for an upset bet.
