Four weeks ago, the horse performed poorly in a Happy Valley 1200m on turf; he was slow coming out of the gate, tracking from the rear with a steady pace throughout, resulting in an unremarkable run. In his last start, he ran over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, and this time he needs to carry seventeen pounds more. The current conditions don't seem ideally suited for him, but his greatest asset is his ability to sustain a run from the rear, possessing the sharpest finishing kick in the field. He has shown ability over this distance and must be watched.
