Three weeks ago, the horse performed well in a 1200m run on Sha Tin turf. He was slow to get going from the gates, tracked late in the race with a steady run, and recovered significant ground in the final stages. He tried 1400m on Sha Tin turf more recently, and this time he carries two pounds less. His timing in the field was acceptable, his draw favorable, and his finishing kick is second to none in his group. The jockey/horse combination is decent, but the circumstances are slightly unfavorable and there isn't a particularly strong synergy between the jockey and trainer; he should not be overlooked.
