MASSIVE REWARD

5/6 (Dirt Trial 1200m: 1-1-3) took a third place lead, showing increased intensity. Four weeks ago, his run over 1200m on Sha Tin turf was disappointing; he jumped slowly, stayed back, and his finishing speed weakened in the final stages, resulting in a heavy defeat. He has since made some improvements in a trial session. In his latest 1400m Sha Tin turf run, which was his first attempt at this distance, he struggled with the trip and had a time disadvantage in the field. His finishing kick was slightly inferior, and the jockey/trainer combination was not ideal, but fortunately, his ability to lead early and favorable race conditions mean there are no major concerns.
