Five weeks ago, the horse performed well in a short Happy Valley race. Although he was slow to jump out and settled near the rear, his average pace throughout the run allowed him to gain back considerable ground in the final stages. Fortunately, he was not too far behind, finishing only three and a half lengths back. In his subsequent run on Sha Tin over 1200m, he failed to place in all six starts, suggesting the conditions are not favorable. If he continues to run from the rear, his late burst of speed may not match that of his rivals, and the jockey-trainer combination is not ideal; therefore, the chances are low.
