Three weeks ago, the horse performed reasonably well in a Happy Valley 1200m race; starting slowly and tracking from behind, his pace was steady, recovering some ground near the finish. Fortunately, he wasn't far off, finishing only a half-length behind. In a subsequent Sha Tin 1200m run, the circumstances were more challenging with an unfavorable draw and a slightly weaker finish, though his timing in the field was acceptable and the jockey/trainer deployment was coordinated, so he didn't see an opportunity.
