TELECOM FIGHTERS

Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Happy Valley 1200m, settling in a good position tracking the leaders at a steady pace with uninspired movement. In a subsequent run on dirt over a mile, the positioning was not ideal, and the finishing kick was slightly lacking. There isn't a particular synergy between the jockey and trainer; however, his early speed is sufficient to fight for position, and he has proven ability in this trip, making him a horse to watch.
