5/6 (Dirt trial 1200m: 5-5-3) Moved out at 300m, driven strongly in the final third. Six weeks ago, he ran a decent race over a Happy Valley mile, showing good scope and finishing well enough to only lose by three and a half lengths. He has shown good class. A recent trial showed slight improvement. Shifting to dirt over a mile for the first time in this distance, the trip doesn't suit him ideally; he was held back by the group pace and his late drive was slightly lacking. However, maintaining a favorable forward position is an advantage, and his recent form suggests nothing unusual regarding performance.
