On 18/6, this horse easily won a dirt trial over 1200m (running positions: 3-3-1) with a strong run. Four weeks ago, he performed poorly in a Sha Tin dirt race over 1400m, being slow out of the gate and running in the rear with a weakening finish. A recent trial showed slight improvement. Returning to dirt over a mile, he carries four pounds less in this race; his time is acceptable and the draw is ideal. If he adopts a stalking running style, his late kick in this field is arguably the strongest; his form continues to improve. Despite a slightly unfavorable position and not having an ideal jockey/trainer combination, he is worth watching seriously.
