Three weeks ago, the horse ran excellently over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, showing good acceleration though his closing speed weakened in the final stages to secure second place. Shifting to a mile on dirt, this was his first attempt at the distance; in this race, he carries seven pounds less. His time with rivals was acceptable, and the draw is ideal; even if conditions are slightly unfavorable, his late kick is not outstanding, and the jockey-trainer partnership hasn't shown much strength, he will still be considered primarily as a supporting runner in this race.
