On June 25th, the horse ran a dirt trial over 1050m with a steady pace settling in third (running positions: section 3, section 3, section 3). Two weeks ago in a maiden race, the performance was disappointing; he jumped slowly, tracked from behind with an even pace throughout, showing mediocre running style and finishing badly. After a trial run, there was slight improvement. Switching to short-distance Happy Valley turf for the first time, the distance seemed unsuitable, and his time was not outstanding. The situation was quite disadvantageous with a poor draw; when tracking from the rear in the race, his finishing kick might not match that of his rivals. The jockey-trainer combination was not ideal, but he showed responsiveness in morning work and carries two pounds less this time, making him one to watch.
