Two weeks ago, the horse performed reasonably well over 1200m on Sha Tin turf, running strongly in the rear and steadily regaining ground in the final stages. In a subsequent Happy Valley sprint, the horse showed no outstanding finishing kick, and the connection between jockey and trainer did not appear particularly harmonious; while he was capable of running up front and has prior experience over this distance, he is not the selection for this race.
