JACKSON HABIT

June 23rd (Dirt trial 1200m: 10-10-3) jumped out slowest, smoothly moved to an advantageous position, and accelerated past the field. May 11th (Dirt trial 1200m: 6-5-6) was competitive on the straight but lacked fluidity. May 28th (Dirt trial 1050m: 4-1-3) came out front on the straight, powering through to third place. Two months ago, he ran a disappointing race over 1200m on Sha Tin turf; tracking the leaders from a good position, his late run faded, resulting in a heavy defeat. He has shown slight improvement through three barrier trials. In his recent run over short Happy Valley turf, the time was not outstanding; he was at a positional disadvantage and his race placement was not ideal. Running near the rear, his finishing kick may not match his rivals', and connections have shown no clear synergy. Fortunately, he showed improvement in morning work, there is a one-pound allowance this time, but his chances remain low.
