On August 30th, he ran a turf trial over 1000m (8-10-10), jumping out slightly slow and untested. Making his early season debut, he performed excellently in a short race on Happy Valley turf two months ago. He ran strongly throughout, maintaining his position steadily, and gradually closing in towards the finish to secure third place. Fortunately, he was not too far behind, beaten by only two lengths, indicating a high standard. A subsequent trial showed he wasn't pushed to his limit. In a more recent Happy Valley turf trial over 1200m, he carried five pounds less, and his time was satisfactory. The race setup seemed favorable, and he drew a good barrier draw. His early speed is sufficient to challenge for position proactively. Based on the assessment, he appears to be one of the strongest contenders in this race, and with the jockey showing some understanding of the horse's temperament, he is expected to perform well again.
