Having started the season, his run two months ago on Sha Tin turf over 1200m was decent; he settled well near the front and finished only two and a half lengths behind, indicating a high standard. A trial run showed slight improvement. Running over Happy Valley turf over 1200m, the circumstances were somewhat disadvantageous, with a slightly weaker closing burst. However, his time was acceptable and recent form is good, so strong expectations should be tempered.
