MR DESIRA

On 11/9, the horse ran a dirt trial over 1200m (running position: 2-1-5). He pressed along the rail, continuously pushed by jockey Rossi. This is an early start to the season; three races ago, in a similar contest, he performed well and showed ability but weakened towards the finish. Having run this trial session, his experience is still limited. He will carry an extra pound in this race; his finishing kick hasn't been outstanding, and the jockey and trainer don't seem particularly in sync, making it difficult to expect much from him.
