This is his first start this season; three months ago in a similar race, the performance was disappointing. He jumped slowly, stayed towards the rear, accelerated in the middle section, but his closing speed weakened in the final stage, resulting in a heavy defeat. A recent trial showed an average performance. The time figures are weak, and the conditions present disadvantages; the jockey and trainer coordination is not ideal. However, if he utilizes a stalking running style, his late kick is the strongest in this group; having won twice over this trip previously, he does not seem to be lacking something.
