Sept 19 (Happy Valley turf trial 1200m: 3-4-5) showed a decent early pace and responded well to the straight run. On Aug 9 (Dirt trial 1050m: 1-1-2), he finished second after a quick break, with stable mouth confirming soundness. Making his first outing this season, he ran in the same race three months ago and performed poorly, tracking close to the pace but losing momentum in the final stages, resulting in a big defeat. After two trial sessions, he showed slight improvement. Having finished third in the last three races, his time figures are somewhat weak and his finishing kick is lacking; however, as he can track the pace and training sessions remain consistent, high expectations are difficult to place.
