PERFECT GENERAL

On 7/9, the horse ran a 1000m turf barrier trial at Conghua (running positions: 1-2-4), taking the lead early and maintaining his pace thereafter. Having debuted this season, in a race three months ago he performed poorly, settling well up and tracking the leaders. He made an effort in the middle stages but faded towards the finish, finishing last. His recent trial performance was not outstanding. Given the time difference within the group and a less favorable configuration, his positioning is not ideal, and his finishing kick lacks brilliance. The synergy between the jockey and trainer is not particularly strong; however, with a four-pound allowance in this race, he warrants attention.
