Three weeks ago, this horse performed poorly in a short sprint on Happy Valley turf; he was slow coming out of the barrier, settled towards the rear, ran steadily throughout, and managed to regain some ground toward the end. Fortunately, he was not far behind, losing only a half length. In his return run on Sha Tin turf over 1200m, he lost all three races, putting him in a slightly unfavorable position; he had to settle towards the back and lacked the finishing kick against his rivals. However, with an advantageous draw and acceptable pace figures, a lack of performance is not surprising.
