Trial on 18/9 (Conghua Turf Trial 1200m: 8-7-6) showed a good effort, gradually accelerating and maintaining decent stamina. This is his first start this season; three months ago over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, his performance was subpar, tracking from the rear with a steady pace and an unremarkable run. He didn't keep up with the pace during a recent trial. In another Sha Tin turf 1200m trial, the conditions were not favorable due to time differences in the group and an unfavorable draw. There wasn't a particularly strong connection between the jockey and trainer, but his finishing kick was among the best in his group. Given the jockey's familiarity with this horse, caution is advised.
