Trial on September 22nd (1200m dirt trial: sections 5-6-4) saw the horse accelerate from 300m, with a strong late run. On August 9th (1200m dirt trial: sections 8-6-5), the start was slightly slow, but he found a good running line around 200m and accelerated well. On August 28th (1050m dirt trial: sections 5-6-6), he looked relaxed on the straight. Making his seasonal debut, in a Happy Valley 1200m race three months ago, the performance was disappointing; he stayed towards the rear with a steady pace and unremarkable form. Having taken three barrier trials, he feels not quite ready. After running over 1200m on Sha Tin dirt, the prospects were not favorable, and there wasn't a strong connection between jockey and trainer. However, he was able to stay towards the rear, showing good finishing ability in his group and having a decent draw, but he is not recommended for this race.
