GREEN ENVY was crowded for room on jumping inside NOBLE MAN which was taken in by RUN THE TABLE. INNO LEGEND was bumped on jumping by GOLDEN MISSION which shifted in. INNO LEGEND then raced tight between ERIN CENTENARY and GOLDEN MISSION which was taken in further by SUPER MISSION which in turn was awkwardly placed inside GOODLUCK GOODLUCK. PRIME TIME shifted in at the start and bumped WINNING STRIKES. PRIME TIME and WINNING STRIKES were then shifted across behind runners in the early stages from wide barriers. From the outside barrier, WINNING BREW was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover. After travelling a short distance, RUN THE TABLE became unbalanced when racing in restricted room between NOBLE MAN and ERIN CENTENARY. Approaching the 1100 Metres, ROMAN IMPERO was inconvenienced when racing tight between DR PROACTIVE and GREEN ENVY which got its head on the side and shifted in away from NOBLE MAN. RUN THE TABLE raced greenly in the early stages. C Schofield (DR PROACTIVE) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that passing the 650 Metres he permitted his mount to shift out when not clear of NOBLE MAN, resulting in that horse being unnecessarily hampered and losing ground and causing RUN THE TABLE, which was following NOBLE MAN, to be checked away from the heels of that horse in consequence. C Schofield was suspended from riding in races for the racemeeting to be conducted at Happy Valley on Wednesday, 8 July 2020. As such, C Schofield is eligible to resume race riding on Thursday, 9 July 2020. In addition, Jockey Schofield was fined $50,000. After this, RUN THE TABLE raced in restricted room between NOBLE MAN and GOLDEN MISSION which improved to be racing outside RUN THE TABLE. This resulted in RUN THE TABLE being checked passing the 500 Metres. Approaching the 300 Metres, PRIME TIME was awkwardly placed close to the heels of RUN THE TABLE which was bumped by WINNING STRIKES. Then after the 300 Metres, PRIME TIME was directed to the inside of RUN THE TABLE and near the 150 Metres lost ground when crowded for room between NOBLE MAN and RUN THE TABLE (H N Wong) which shifted in under pressure. H N Wong was reprimanded and advised that whilst the Stewards acknowledged that RUN THE TABLE had raced greenly, nonetheless the horse had shifted in when being ridden along in this incident. Approaching the 150 Metres, ROMAN IMPERO raced tight between ERIN CENTENARY and GOODLUCK GOODLUCK which shifted in marginally when giving ground. Passing the 100 Metres, NOBLE MAN was awkwardly placed outside the heels of GREEN ENVY. Also passing the 100 Metres, WINNING STRIKES was shifted in away from the heels of GOLDEN MISSION to continue improving. Throughout the race, GOODLUCK GOODLUCK travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. A veterinary inspection of GOODLUCK GOODLUCK and NOBLE MAN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. WINNING BREW and GOLDEN MISSION were sent for sampling.
