On February 28th, it demonstrated good form in a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m (1-1-1) taking the lead with strong urging from the jockey. Eight weeks ago, in a race over the same distance, the performance was poor; a slow start saw it settle towards the back with a consistent pace but lacking a finishing kick. After a short break, two barrier trials showed slight improvement. This time, the horse carries no additional weight and draws an advantageous inside barrier despite its rivals being similarly timed. However, it has failed to place in three attempts over this distance, requiring a hold-up strategy where its finishing speed may not match competitors – a slow start is anticipated.
