He finished seventh, beaten three and a half lengths. Now switching to Sha Tin over 1400m for his first attempt at this distance, carrying no additional weight, the increased distance is expected to suit. A hold-up tactics relying on a strong finishing kick should see him as one of the strongest finishers in the field; despite an unfavorable outside draw, he could still be competitive.
