On March 27th, the horse recorded sections of 8-7-5 over a dirt trial of 1200m, showing an attractive surge when moving out at the 200m mark. Four weeks ago, in a race over the same distance, it performed well despite a slow start, settling back in the field before finishing strongly in the final two sections with fast times. A recent barrier trial suggested it hadn’t been fully extended. This time, without any weight reduction, having previously won twice at this distance and with comparable sectionals to its rivals, it is expected to race from behind with a strong finishing kick. Despite drawing an unfavorable outside barrier, the horse remains a contender.
