Four weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over 1800m on dirt, jumping slowly and settling at the back before failing to make any ground and finishing well-beaten. A subsequent trial over a mile on dirt saw the horse receive a five-pound weight reduction; however, it has failed to win in three attempts at this distance. Facing similarly timed rivals and drawing an unfavorable outside barrier, it doesn’t appear to be suited for this race.
