On 1/4, a dirt trial over 1050m saw the horse track at 2-2-2, showing moderate response with light urging after 200m. On 21/3, during a 1050m dirt trial, it flashed inwards after 300m and responded to a whip to finish third. A turf trial over 1200m on 2/1 saw the horse urged early but with little improvement. Further back on 19/12 at Conghua, a 1200m dirt trial resulted in a consistently trailing position with no significant threat. Prior to May, this horse ran well over a Happy Valley 1200m, jumping moderately and settling towards the rear before finishing strongly. After a period of rest, four barrier trials have shown some improvement. Now switching stables and racing on dirt for the first time over a mile, carrying a six-pound weight reduction, despite the distance being unfavorable with an outside draw, it’s expected to race from behind but may lack the finishing kick of rivals. However, the horse's connections are optimistic and have faith in the trainer-jockey combination, suggesting potential for a forward run.
