Three weeks ago, over the same distance, despite finishing in the top three, the horse led but lacked a strong pace and finished third, beaten by half a length – a narrow defeat demonstrating good ability. Having dropped 23 pounds in body weight, this time no additional weight is required. The horse has proven form over this course, holds the best time among its group, and drew a favorable barrier. The plan is to settle back in the field and rely on a strong finishing kick; the current form isn't bad. Based on the horse’s capabilities, it appears to be the most impressive contender in this race and has been undergoing gate work recently suggesting it has the potential to overturn previous results.
