FATAL BLOW

Last run winner, three weeks ago over the same distance, performed well, slow jump out, settled towards the back of the field, maintained a steady pace but finished strongly to win. Now stepping up in class, this time with a 15-pound weight reduction, similar timing as previous runs, drawn an unfavorable barrier, and despite having two wins at this course and distance, capable of tracking the leaders, likely to be positioned mid-division. Trainer and jockey appear to have confidence in each other, showing potential for a competitive run.
