FLYING DOUBLE

On April 29th (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-3), the horse took an active lead on the rail, showing good energy in the final section. On April 11th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 2-1-3), it settled along the rail and ran smoothly with both early speed and finishing kick. On March 21st (turf trial 1000m: 2-2-4), it was positioned mid-pack, battling for the lead and maintaining a steady pace in the final section. In April prior to these trials, its performance over this same distance was below expectations; a slow jump resulted in settling towards the rear, with an effort to make ground in the middle stages but ultimately falling short. After a lengthy break, it has undergone three barrier trials showing slight improvement. This time around, benefitting from a 2lb weight reduction and comparable times within its group, a hold-up tactic is anticipated; demonstrating a strong finishing kick, it appears well positioned and capable."
