On April 28th, a turf trial over 1000m at Conghua saw this horse break moderately and finish with a comfortable surge in the final stages. Five weeks ago, it ran well over a Happy Valley 1200m, settling nicely tracking the leaders, accelerating in the middle section and maintaining a good pace throughout, finishing three and a half lengths behind the winner. A recent barrier trial showed acceptable performance. Returning to Sha Tin for its debut run over 1200m this time with a 3lb weight reduction, the draw is unfavorable and the trainer-jockey combination appears less cohesive. Despite having some previous form at this distance, the opposition isn’t significantly weaker, and it has potential to track the early pace. The jockey is gaining familiarity with the horse's capabilities but no clear winning opportunity is evident yet.
