Four weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse ran poorly, taking an early lead and showing some mid-race acceleration but fading significantly to finish third, beaten three lengths. This time he needs to carry 10 pounds more, which isn’t ideal; trainer and jockey aren't a strong pairing. Despite reasonable sectionals, he may struggle to keep pace with the leaders. He has drawn an inside barrier and will now be ridden by Matthew Chadwick, who knows the horse well, but is unlikely to feature in this race.
