On April 28th, a turf trial over 1000m at Conghua saw the horse urged forward maintaining an even pace. Four weeks ago in a similar trial, it ran decently, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before making progress in the middle stages with a strong push. A previous barrier trial showed it struggling to keep up with the leading horses. This race sees no weight reduction; the plan is again to settle towards the back, however, its finishing kick isn't expected to match rivals, leaving its prospects looking unfavorable. Fortunately, times within the group were relatively close, and trainer-jockey communication appears solid, suggesting it may be a longshot contender.
