Horse analysis
On 2/5 (dirt trial 1200m: 7-7-1), the horse made good progress from three lengths behind, showing a promising move. On 10/4 (dirt trial 1200m: 7-7-1), it moved out on the turn and finished strongly. Eight weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over a Happy Valley 1800m, slow to jump and settling at the rear before making a late run in fast sections, resulting in a significant defeat. Following a short break, two barrier trials have shown improvement. Returning for its debut on dirt mile, it carries no additional weight this time. Despite having won twice over this distance previously, with good times recorded by rivals, drawing an inside barrier suggests a hold-up tactic. It is expected to have the strongest finishing kick in the field. Pre-race exercise was intense, appearing somewhat tense, but the overall situation isn’t ideal and a trailing pace is advised.
