Maintaining a steady pace throughout, it lacked any significant acceleration. Returning to the dirt mile, he has a one-pound weight reduction for this race and is expected to settle back again, however, his finishing kick was not as strong as rivals. The situation isn’t ideal, but considering past performances over this distance and respectable times within the group, he could cause an upset.
