Three weeks ago, this horse delivered an excellent performance in a 1200m dirt race, jumping slowly but settling back and finishing with fast sections. Now stepping up to a mile on the dirt again after a break, he faces a more challenging task carrying 19 pounds more this time. Despite the unfavorable weight increase and although sectional times aren’t significantly different within the group, drawing an inside barrier suggests a likely hold-up tactic relying on a strong finishing kick, which is his biggest asset in this field; however, there doesn't appear to be a clear plan B.
