Three weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse ran well despite a slow start and settling towards the rear. He finished with strong sections in the final two furlongs but was still beaten three and a half lengths for sixth place. This time, he benefits from a one-pound weight reduction and has drawn an outside barrier. The plan is to settle back again, however, his finishing kick may not be enough against this competition. While his sectionals weren't significantly slower than others in the group, he’s been showing plenty of energy leading up to the race.
