Four weeks ago, this horse ran over a Happy Valley mile, tracking the leader but with an even pace and no finishing burst. He finished sixth, beaten three and a half lengths. Now stepping up to Sha Tin over 1800m for his first attempt at this distance, he benefits from a two-pound weight reduction. Despite being capable of leading, the situation is favorable. Andrea Atzeni takes the ride, knowing the horse’s temperament well, however, the distance may not suit and he lacks a strong finishing kick; trainer/jockey combination appears less effective, and a slow start is expected.
