Three weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse ran well despite a slow start, settling back in the field before making ground with strong sections. He finished fifth, beaten three and a half lengths. This time he benefits from a two-pound weight reduction and has proven form over this course and distance, holding his own in comparison to rivals. The plan is to settle back again, relying on a strong finishing kick – which is his strength within the group.
